I taught 4th and 5th grade in North Carolina for eight years and for the past five years taught gifted and talented / enrichment in CT. Last winter my district cut my program and I am now unemployed and rethinking my life. - this is my tumblr blog
UPDATE - I am once again teaching GT in a high need district in CT and am so lucky to be able to teach hispanic GT students for the first time in my career - I am still considering making a move back to the regular classroom for next year. I have also decided that for now at least my place is in the schoolhouse.
